The History of Sigma Alpha Iota
Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity was established in 1903 at the University School of Music in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The Riverside-San Bernardino Counties Alumnae Chapter was chartered on October 22, 1966, and currently has 7 active members. Its members are responsible for sponsoring many community service projects, social events, and fundraisers; including recitals to benefit the Florence Haffner Memorial Scholarship. This award is given to a sophomore or junior member of the Sigma Eta chapter at the University of Redlands. This member is chosen by the faculty at the University on the basis of performance.

- Dedicates financial resources that ensure the continuation of programs necessary to support the objectives of the fraternity in perpetuity
- Has as its members people who exemplify professional and ethical behavior in the spirit of the Sigma Alpha Iota founders.

We, the members of Sigma Alpha Iota, will:
